Router Troubleshooting - No Lights on Router
- Check the Power Connection
- First, make sure the router is securely plugged into a working power outlet. Try a different outlet if you’re unsure.
- Inspect for Potential Power Surges
- If the router is plugged in but still has no lights, it could be damaged due to a power surge. Look for any signs of damage to the router or its power adapter.
- Inspect Surge Protector/Multi-Outlet
- If the surge protector or multi-outlet that the router is plugged in to is damaged or defective, the router may not work properly or at all.
- Replace the Router if Necessary
- If the router doesn’t respond after confirming a working power source, it may need to be replaced.
