For understanding your AX55 Router

Router Light Indicators:
  • Power Light: Indicates that the router is receiving power. A flashing power light means the router is booting up or updating firmware.

  • 2.4 GHz Light: Shows that the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel is active. It will stay on when the channel is broadcasting. The light can be on even without an internet connection.

  • 5 GHz Light: This light shows that the 5 GHz Wi-Fi channel is active and broadcasting. Like the 2.4 GHz light, it may remain on regardless of internet status.

  • Internet Light: Indicates whether the router has an active internet connection from the ONT or fiber injector. A solid light means an active connection; blinking indicates data activity.

  • LAN Light: This lights up when a device is connected to one of the router's LAN ports via an Ethernet cable.

  • WPS Light: Indicates that the router is in WPS pairing mode, searching for a device to connect securely without needing a password.

Router Ports:

  • LAN Ports: The RT-AX55 has four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports for wired device connections, such as computers, gaming consoles, or TVs.

  • WAN Port: Connects the router to the ONT or fiber injector, providing the router with internet access.
